JK Rowling has reminded her Harry Potter fans that yesterday, Saturday June 6, was her character Draco Malfoy’s 35th birthday.
But there was a cautionary note. Writing on Twitter, the author said she would not be attending Mr Malfoy’s birthday and moreover that her girl readers are “misguided to fancy him.”
In 2005, the Scottish author told fan magazine The Leaky Cauldron that she believed it was an “unhealthy” delusion on the part of Draco’s fans to actually like him.
