Netflix has acquired Puffin Rock, the children's animation series from Kilkenny's Cartoon Saloon and Derry company Dog Ears, which is already shown on RTÉjr and Nick Jr.
IFTN reports that the deal means the Chris O'Dowd-narrated show will be seen in France, Germany, the Benelux countries, the US, Canada and Latin America from September.
Puffin Rock follows a family of lovable puffins living on a wild and beautiful Irish island. Young puffling, Oona, and her little brother, Baba, explore the island with their friends, and their stories are filled with laughter and adventure.
