Channel 4 has decided not to bring back The Singer Takes It All for a second season.
Broadcast reports that Alan Carr's often catastrophic singing contest failed to bring in big ratings for the channel when it first aired on Friday nights last summer.
The four-part series allowed viewers to vote in real-time for their favourite performers via an app.
Those who impressed the most were moved to a Gold Zone, and the contestant who stayed there the longest won a five-figure cash prize.
Paddy McGuinness, Rizzle Kicks, Pixie Lott and Jason Manford were among the show's celebrity guests, while former X Factor singer Brenda Edwards appeared as a giant set of lips which commentated each episode.
