Patti Smith has been forced to move her show tonight at Dublin's Royal Hospital, Kilmainham indoors due to Inclement weather and gale force winds.
The New York - via Chicago - punk maverick will now play her celebrated 1975 album Horses in its entirety in two marquees which are being erected at the site.
Tonight's line-up also includes Spiritualized, Ariel Pink, and New Secret Weapon.
A statement from the promoter says: "This hugely anticipated show, initially set to take place on the outdoor Main Stage at the Royal Hospital is now being staged in two tented structures at the Royal Hospital.
"As of this morning, the official Met Eireann forecast for today indicates that ‘winds will increase during the afternoon, with strong to gale force southerly winds and some severe gusts likely. Winds will veer westerly and decrease in the evening.’
In light of the inclement weather and gale force winds, two adjoining stages in two tented structures will be used for tonight’s show, with two artists performing in each one, none of which will clash with each other’s performance.
Stage times are:
New Secret Weapon: 6.00pm - 6:30pm (Tent 2)
Ariel Pink: 6:40pm - 7:40pm (Tent 1)
Spiritualized: 7:55pm - 9:05pm (Tent 2)
Patti Smith: 9:15pm - 10:45pm (Tent 1)
