Following its premiere at Cannes, the Gabriel Byrne-starring family drama Louder than Bombs has secured US distribution.

Distribution company The Orchard has acquired North American rights to the film, the English language debut of writer-director Joachim Trier (Oslo, August 31). 

Louder than Bombs also stars Isabelle Huppert, Jesse Eisenberg and Devin Druid.

It tells the story of a widowed man (Byrne) and his two sons (Eisenberg and Druid) as they try to come to terms with their loss and memories.
