New Girl star Max Greenfield is the latest actor to be added to the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel.
The show's creator Ryan Murphy announced the news on Twitter, posting rather cryptically: "This October, Max Greenfield (like you've never seen him) is checking in to the hotel….but not checking out. #AHSHotel"
Greenfield, who plays the much-loved character Schmidt on the Fox comedy New Girl, joins an all-star line-up including Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Lady Gaga, Chloe Sevigny, Kathy Bates Cheyenne Jackson and Wes Bentley.
American Horror Story: Hotel is scheduled to air this autumn in the US on FX.
