Check out the first clips from Macbeth, which had it's world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Michael Fassbender stars as Macbeth, alongside Marian Cotillard and Jack Reynor.
Macbeth tells the story a fearless warrior and inspiring leader brought low by ambition and desire.
Set in Scotland, Macbeth is directed by Justin Kurzel and also stars Paddy Considine (The Bourne Ultimatum), David Thewlis (the Harry Potter series), Sean Harris (Prometheus), Jack Reynor (What Richard Did) and Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby).
Speaking about her character, Lady Macbeth, at a press conference in Cannes Marian Cotillard said:"It's difficult for me because firstly the language is English with a particular accent and I was always afraid of not managing to pay tribute to a given text, particularly when you're talking about Shakespeare, so that for me was perhaps what intimidated me most."
