BBC Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton broadcast her last show on the station this morning (May 22) and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has penned a song to mark the occasion.
Cotton, who is pregnant with her second child, announced in February that she was stepping down for "family and new adventures".
The news clearly has clearly upset Martin, who sings: "I was very very sad to hear/My favourite show would disappear/Today I'm filling up with blues/Though I'm happy that her tummy's growing/A DJ that we love is going".
Tributes to BBC DJ have been led by the frontman of her favourite band, the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl and Ricky Gervais, in character as David Brent.
