One Direction thanked former band-mate Zayn Malik in their acceptance speech at last night's Billboard Music Awards as they collected the Top Duo/Group award.
Liam Payne said in his speech, "I just want to say, Billboard, you guys have been so amazing throughout our career.
"Thank you for the support and as well as our fans, there's one more person to share this with and that's our brother Zayn, so thank you very much."
1D recently spoke about Zayn's exit from the band on James Corden's Late Late Show, with Liam saying they were initially angry that he wanted to leave, "At first we were a little bit angry, obviously. We were surprised, but I think we all knew the sort of vibe Zayn was feeling. From the outside people could tell as well."
