Selma and Interstellar star David Oyelowo has signed up to star in Luke Evans thriller Three Seconds.
The film follows an FBI undercover agent who is placed in a prison as part of an ongoing investigation, which goes wrong. When he's abandoned by the agency, he is forced to escape on his own.
Three Seconds, which is based on a best-selling Swedish book by Anders Roslund and Borge Hellstrom, will be directed by Peaky Blinders Otto Bathurst
Oyelowo will play an NYPD Detective, Edward Grens, who begins to investigate the whole FBI operation after one of his fellow officers is murdered.
