The folk rock act formed in July 2010 after a series of spontaneous jam sessions and have developed an acoustic trad/folk sound.

Hermitage Green are Darragh Graham on banjo, djembe, backing vocals; songwriter Darragh Griffin on vocals, guitars; Dan Murphy on vocals, guitars, dobro, and harmonica; Barry Murphy on vocals and bass; and Dermot Sheedy on bodhran.

The news follows Irish acts such as Le Galaxie, Gavin James, Little Hours, Walking on Cars, and Delorentos signing their names onto the fabled dotted line with record labels.
