CBS has confirmed that the annual Grammy Awards are moving from their traditional Sunday night slot (US time) to Monday from 2016.
Next year's awards show will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday, February 15. The Recording Academy has also confirmed that the eligibility period for next year's Grammys is October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015.
The Recording Academy routinely attracts a host of music's biggest stars to the Grammys stage, with Madonna, Kanye West, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell and Lady Gaga among this year's performers.
Sam Smith was the big winner at this year's Grammys, taking home four awards including the coveted Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist prizes.
