Archie Panjabi has insisted that it was an easy decision for her to leave hit US drama The Good Wife.
The actress, who played mysterious in-house investigator Kalinda Sharma for six seasons, admitted it was the right time to leave.
In an interview with Digital Spy, she said: "Around season four, I kind of felt I really liked this character, found this great equilibrium which I think we all strive to achieve."
The 42-year-old added: "And I think I found that great equilibrium for six seasons, but in the fourth season I was like, 'If I stay after the sixth, which is what my contract is, I think that equilibrium's going to be lost.' Sometimes it's good to go when things are good.
"It was pretty easy [decision to leave the show]. I love the character – I think it's a great character."
The Good Wife currently runs on Tuesday on RTÉ One.
