Wesley Snipes is back on prime time TV after more than a decade away as NBC has put in a series order for his new drama The Player.
Formerly known as Endgame, the Las Vegas-based thriller follows a vengeful security expert who takes bets about whether he can stop some of the area's biggest criminals.
The US network has also picked up Game of Silence from CSI showrunner Carol Mendelsohn.
This show follows a successful attorney whose childhood friends unexpectedly reappear after 25 years and the reunion digs up a dark secret from their past.
Australian actor David Lyons (ER, Revolution) leads the cast.
