It has been announced that a sequel to the 2012 reboot of The Three Stooges is underway.
Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos and Will Sasso will reprise their roles as The Three Stooges while Bobby and Peter Farrelly, the duo that wrote, produced and directed the 2012 reboot, will not be back for the sequel.
C3 Entertainment's Earl and Robert Benjamin will executive produce the film along with Brian O'Shea and Jeff Bowler, with Cameron Fay to pen the script.
Benjamin said of the project, "We're excited to be moving forward with The Exchange and Grand Peaks on the next Three Stooges movie.
"With Sean, Chris and Will back as our Stooges and Cameron writing, this next film will be a truly unique blend of fast-paced action with the hilarious mayhem of The Three Stooges."
A release date has not yet been revealed.
