Singer Molly Sterling has told TEN that she is "so excited" to represent Ireland in this year's Eurovision Song Contest with her song, Playing with Numbers.
The 17-year-old from Nenagh, Co Tipperary said: "It's going to be so fun. It's just cool, even the city, Vienna - it's so cool! I get to go over to Vienna - it's like a free holiday with a bit of singing in the middle."
She continued: "It's like you're going over with your mates. The guys playing instruments around me are so nice and so supportive, and everybody behind the scenes. It's going to be fun; just go over and enjoy it and try my best – for Ireland!"
The singer also explained that being picked to represent Ireland in the Eurovision is a dream come true, saying: "Yeah, I wish there was another word for it. I really should whip out a thesaurus for all these things because everybody says 'dream come true' so it sounds dull to your ears.
"But it is; it's unbelievable, especially because I never thought it would happen. I didn't think we'd get picked for the five [Eurosong finalists] at all, so going to Vienna is ridiculous. It's mad."
