Fox has cancelled The Mindy Project after three seasons.
However, the half-hour sitcom will be reportedly given a lifeline by online streaming service Hulu for two additional seasons, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The third season ended in March with viewers seeing Danny (Chris Messina) boarding on a plane to India to ask Mindy's parents for their blessing to tie the knot.
In addition, Mindy and Danny's unborn baby was yet to be introduced.
