Errol Brown, singer with Hot Chocolate who scored hits with You Sexy Thing and It Started with a Kiss, has died age 71.
Brown is believed to have passed away at his home in the Bahamas earlier today after a battle with liver cancer. His manager, Phil Dale, confirmed his death.
Hot Chocolate, who played Dublin's Vicar Street on May 3 with new vocalist Kennie Simon, enjoyed huge success in the 1970s and 1980s and had worldwide hits with You Sexy Thing, It Started With A Kiss and Everyone's a Winner.
Brown received an Ivor Novello Award for Songwriting in 2004 and was made an MBE in 2003.
