X Factor runner-up Rylan Clark launched TV3's summer run of Big Brother today. Check out the pictures here.
TV3 will broadcast over 200 hours of the reality series across TV3, 3e and 3Player starting with Big Brother: Timebomb on May 12, which will be hosted by Emma Willis.
Clark will host Big Brother’s Bit on the Side nightly on 3e straight after the main show.
The reality show is returning to Ireland for the first time since 2010 and the deal will also see TV3 broadcast Celebrity Big Brother, with a series scheduled for this autumn and January 2016.
This year’s Big Brother Timebomb theme will see a Mad Men-influenced, '60s-style decor for the new house as part of "an upbeat, glamorous, thrilling and mischievous series".
Speaking today at the official launch of Big Brother on TV3, Rylan said: “It's an absolute pleasure to be back here in Ireland after all the support I've received from everyone here since The X Factor and even more exciting to be returning to my Irish TV home TV3 and 3e with Big Brother: Timebomb.
"We have had so many fantastic Irish housemates over the years and this year promises to be one of our best and I'm absolutely thrilled that the Irish citizens can share the journey with us. Catch the main show on TV3 and head over to 3e straight after to join me for all the gossip on Big Brother's Bit on the Side every night!”
