Veteran political correspondent, journalist and broadcaster Olivia O'Leary will appear on the Saturday Night Show to talk career, family, and to give her thoughts on the current state of the nation.

Also on the show, nine-year-old Martial Artist and Britain’s Got Talent contestant Jessie Jane McParland will perform her kick-boxing routine and chat about her upcoming movie debut.  

Margharita Solan, Chairperson of McAuley Place in Naas will talk about the important role of the elderly in Ireland. 

Host Brendan O'Connor will also talk to a number of award-winning Irish food producers Catherine Buggy of Boutique Bake, David Llewellyn of Llewellyn’s Orchard, James Nolan of Nolan Butchers and Jack Kirwan of Sprout & Co about the growing demand for natural, home-grown produce in Ireland.

Dublin band Villagers, who have just released their new album Darling Arithmetic, will perform live.

The Saturday Night Show airs on RTÉ One, 9.45pm on Saturday, May 2.
