Terry Wogan and London taxi driver Mason McQueen are to travel around Britain in a new BBC Two series which has been billed as a "culinary adventure".
The series has the working title Terry and Mason's Food Trip and will see Wogan and the A Cabbie Abroad star "explore the food and social history of various locations".
Their destinations are referenced in the 1963 Samuel Chamberlain book, British Bouquet: An Epicurean Tour of Britain.
Wogan said: "I've taken the high road in the back seat of Mason's black London cab, as together we travel the country, meeting the people, seeing the sights and forcing down the occasional mouthful of food, in our fearless pursuit of epicurean excellence."
McQueen added: "Swapping the busy streets of London for the country lane has been a welcome experience.
"Terry has been a brilliant guide, as have all the local people we've met and I've definitely learnt more about British cuisine."
The series will air later this year.
