The latest famous face to offer an opinion on the upcoming marriage equality referendum on May 22 is the hugely popular comic creation, Mrs Agnes Brown.
Played by Brendan O'Carroll, Ireland's best-known fictitious mammy has offered her opinion on the matter, with an emphasis on urging everyone to vote in a video entitled A Message from the Mammy-in-Chief.
Mrs Brown says: "Marriage isn't easy. Changing the law isn't easy. Changing attitude is even harder. But we can do it. We've done it before. And the world didn't end."
She also urges everyone to "get out and vote - that's the important thing."
