Ventriloquist Keith Harris, who was famous for his TV appearances with Orville the Duck, has died aged 67 following a battle with cancer.
The entertainer passed away at Blackpool Victoria Hospital this morning (April 28) after a long illness.
His agent Robert C Kelly confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: "Sad to announce death from cancer of my client, dear friend and great talent, Keith Harris."
Harris had a career in showbiz that spanned more than 50 years, starring in The Keith Harris Show on BBC One between 1982 and 1990. He also scored a hit single with Orville's Song in 1982.
