The current Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh has opened up about her love life revealing that women haven't been queuing up to date her.
Walsh told the Sunday Independent that she's hoping romance is on the cards for her when she hands over her Rose of Tralee crown in September.
She said: “Fingers crossed, there will be more (loves) . . . I really genuinely don’t (get asked out)]. I think people just say, ‘Ah well she’s really busy.’ Hopefully maybe in September when I hand back the crown.
“But for now I am married to the crown, whether it's legal or not – that’s what I am married to."
Maria was crowned Most Stylish Newcomer at the VIP Style Awards this weekend.
