Acclaimed US legal drama The Good Wife is returning next week to RTÉ One for its sixth season.
Featuring former ER star Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick, Matt Czuchry as Cary Agos and Archie Panjabi as Kalinda Sharm, it's the first run with the departed Josh Charles, whose character Will Gardner was killed-off in season five.
This run will consist of 16 episodes and next Tuesday's (Apr 28) season opener sees Diane (Christine Baranski) planning to 'retire' from her firm to join Florrick Agos - but everything is put on hold when Cary is arrested on serious drug charges.
Meanwhile, Eli plots to launch Alicia as a candidate for state's attorney. But will she accept to his offer?
