Wicklow singer-songwriter Hozier is among the nominees for this year's Ivor Novello songwriting and composing awards in the UK.
Hozier is nominated in the Best Song Musically and Lyrically category for Take Me to Church. His competition for the award is Above the Clouds of Pompeii by London folk band Bear Den and Ben Howard's I Forget Where We Were.
Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne are nominated in two categories for their hit Rather Be - Best Contemporary Song and the PRS for Music award for Most Performed Work.
Belfast's David Holmes is nominated in the Best Original Film Score category for his work on the acclaimed Belfast-set thriller '71.
Other nominees across the six categories include Alt-J, Bombay Bicycle Club, George Ezra, Royal Blood, Sam Smith, FKA Twigs and Wild Beasts.
The winners will be announced in London on May 21.
