David-Davin Power presents a special on Irish involvement at the battle of Gallipoli, one of the greatest misadventures of the First World War, Super Garden returns for its seventh series, Resurrection is also back

Gallipoli - Ireland’s Forgotten Heroes, 10.15pm, RTÉ One

RTÉ's Political Correspondent David Davin-Power returns to that rural Turkish peninsula of Gallipoli where is own grandfather fought and which claimed the lives of some 3,000 Irishmen. With the help of historians and relatives of soldiers, he tells the story of this brutal battle and disastrous campaign from the Irish perspective one hundred years on. 

Super Garden, 8.30pm RTÉ One

In episode one of this seventh series of this extremely popular and hardy annual, gardener Grace McCullen takes over the Coyle Family’s back garden in Bettystown, County Meath. The brief for Grace is to simply create a space in which the two children, Caelen (9), and Davin (4), can enjoy. Also in the brief is an area in which their 29-year old mother Nathalie and their 44-year old father Eddie can entertain friends and family in. Nathalie and Eddie are originally from Skerries Co. Dublin and they married in 2008. Both their boys have Autism. Eddie is a butcher and opened his own shop in Slane in 2013. He works six days a week. The boys play in the garden all the time as they cannot play out the front of their house due to safety concerns, given the the presence of the busy estate roadway.

Resurrection, 8.05pm RTÉ2

The series returns. Bellamy awakens alone and abandoned at Arcadia’s outskirts, missing a week of his life. As his memory returns, he has a shocking revelation. Meanwhile, Arcadia welcomes one more returned, Margaret Langston (guest star Michelle Fairley), the powerful matriarch of the Langston family, dead for over three decades.
