After a grainy bootleg copy leaked online, director Zack Snyder has posted an official trailer for Batman V Superman. Check it out.
In the two minute clip, Superman (Henry Cavill) can be seen coming to terms with the destruction he caused while battling General Zod in Man of Steel.
Newsman Charlie Rose and others can be heard championing Superman while Holly Hunter says in the voiceover: "Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
"The world has been so caught up with what he can do, that no-one has asked what he should do."
The trailer also contains shots of Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne staring at his Batman costume in the Batcave.
The trailer ends with confrontation between the two heroes, with Batman warning: "Tell me – do you bleed? You will!"
The teaser was due to be screened for the first time at cinemas across the US in a special launch event on Monday (April 20), before the footage was illegally distributed online yesterday (April 17).
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in Ireland on March 25, 2016.
