Ryan Gosling is in talks to joins the cast of Blade Runner 2 alongside Harrison Ford.
Preparation is well underway for a sequel to Ridley Scott's 1982 sci-fi film Blade Runner. Harrison Ford has already signed on to reprise his role as Rick Deckard and Gosling is close to signing a deal that will see him join the cast.
The only information known about the story is that it will pick up a couple decades after the original – details about Gosling's character are being kept under wraps.
The follow-up is to be directed by Denis Villeneuve, with Scott serving as executive producer. The script has been written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green from an idea by Fancher and Scott.
