Angelina Jolie is reportedly in the running to direct Captain Marvel.
The 39-year-old actress-turned-filmmaker is "definitely under consideration for" the position, according to Collider.
OK! magazine previously reported Jolie was offered a $20 million paycheck to bring Captain Marvel to the big screen, while claiming that the studio considers it a priority to land a female director for the film.
Jolie directed 2014's Unbroken and 2011's In the Land of Blood and Honey.
Captain Marvel is slated for release in July, 2018.
