Hobbit and LoTRs star Sir Ian McKellen has joined the cast of the upcoming Emma Watson-starring Beauty and the Beast live-action remake.
McKellen will play Will Cogsworth, the film's butler-turned-clock, according to Variety.
Watson will play Belle with former Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens taking on the role of The Beast. Luke Evans, Kevin Kline and Emma Thompson are also on board to play Gaston, Belle's father Maurice and Mrs. Potts respectively.
Bill Condon is helming the project which is set to hit cinemas in March 2017.
Disney have recently announced plans to film live-action remakes of other classics Dumbo, Mulan, Pinocchio and The Little Mermaid following the highly successful Cinderella reboot this year.
