Jack Reynor is facing a $2 million (€1.8m) lawsuit over an alleged collision which took place in 2012.

According to court papers seen by the Herald, the Transformers star is being sued alongside his Delivery Man co-star Brittany Leanna Robertson following the alleged incident with Loren Dehenes and Julie Shepherd.

They claim the 23-year-old actor struck them with his car while driving through a crossing at Franklin Avenue and Beachwood Drive in Los Angeles on November 14, 2012.

The two women are seeking damages for $1 million each for the "pain, suffering and inconvenience" they experienced after the alleged incident.

The women claim that Reynor and Robertson, along with Robertson's company Freedom Artists Entertainment, showed "general negligence", causing personal injury and are seeking medical expenses, as well as loss of earnings, loss of future earning capacity and property damage.

Reynor has not yet responded to the claims, but the court papers show that Freedom Artists Entertainment has denied "each and every allegation".
