Lego Movie directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller look set to direct The Flash movie for Warner Bros.
According to The Wrap, the duo are busy developing a story behind the scenes for the DC Comics superhero but have yet to officially sign up to direct the film adaptation.
Ezra Miller has already been confirmed to play the title role, whose extraordinary speed allows him to take on the various criminals causing chaos in the fictitious Central City.
Miller will make his debut as The Flash in a new Justice League (DC's equivalent of Marvel's Avengers) film that's due in 2017, before a standalone movie that's pencilled in for release a year later. A second Justice League caper will follow in 2019.
Lord and Miller are currently working on a sequel to last year's Lego Movie and have reportedly been approached to direct a film set in the Ghostbusters universe.
