Boyband Blue have vowed to continue making music despite being dropped by their label Sony following the flop of their comeback album earlier this year.
The fourpiece parted ways with Sony after Colours peaked at number 13 on the UK chart in March and sold a disappointing 4000 copies.
Blue, who enjoyed hits with All Rise and You Make Me Wanna in the early 2000s, had only signed to the label last November in a two-album deal, but Sony has decided to cut its losses.
A spokesperson for the group said: "Blue and Sony remain on good terms. After the boys finish on their sell-out tour they will be back in the recording studio.
"The best friends will continue to do what they love and fans can be assured that there will be more music from the band next year. 2016 will see Blue celebrating 15 years together."
In a lengthy Facebook post, Blue had a pop at journalists "who find it fun and amusing to preach their negativity and vitriol" rather than the record label that dropped them.
They wrote: "We don't need to prove who we are, or ask permission to be here. We love Sony Music who have supported us and licensed the album for the UK and supported us on tour and we look forward to the rest of this year and the next as we move into Fifteen Years of Blue."
