Kathy Bates will star in American Horror Story: Hotel.
The actress previously appeared in two seasons of the FX anthology series, American Horror Story: Coven and American Horror Show: Freak Show, as Ethel Darling and Madame Delphine LaLaurie.
The show's creator Ryan Murphy revealed the news on Twitter, writing: "Kathy Bates is running the Hotel. #AHSSeason5"
She joins Chloe Sevigny, Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson in the series.
American Horror Story: Hotel is expected to debut in October.
