Following a 15-year absence, Blur have announced that they will be performing new tracks from their album The Magic Whip on the new season of Later….With Jools Holland.
BBC Two's flagship music show will return next Tuesday April 14, with performances by Blur, Laura Marling, the Vaccines, and Marc Almond.
The 46th season will start with the half-hour Later... Live show beginning at 10.00pm that evening before the usual hour-long version on Friday nights at 11.35pm.
The Magic Whip is the band's first album in 16 years as a four-piece. Blur commenced recording the album in Hong Kong in 2013.
Released on Parlophone, the record is released in Ireland on Friday April 24.
