Game of Thrones star Lena Headey has teased "great scenes" between her character Cersei and Natalie Dormer's Margaery in the show's fifth season.

The actress, who plays Cersei Lannister on the HBO show, told Entertainment Weekly, "There's some great scenes with Margaery [Tyrell – played by Natalie Dormer] and Cersei this season.

"I think everyone will dig that. There's a stab one way, then a good stab the other way—they're fun and dangerous. And also, there's a moment between Cersei and Olenna [Diana Rigg] which is awesome as well. She's got two thorns deeply in her side."

Spoiler Alert!

Speaking about the impact of her on-screen father Tywin's murder in season four, Headey added, "Not that it was a love fest, but at least she had guidance from her father. And sadly, she doesn’t really know much about their finances and political allies. She thinks she’s found an influential power group to join and manipulate, but she invests in the wrong people. She just has too much hatred for certain people, so she doesn’t help her cause."

Game of Thrones returns to Sky Atlantic at 9pm on Monday, April 13. For a re-cap on the major plotlines and a preview of what's to come in season five, click here.
