A planned VH1 reboot of The Osbournes is the subject of a lawsuit.

Jack Osbourne is taking several companies he partially owns to court as he claims they are demanding payment for the upcoming episodes.

The company behind MTV series JOKS sued Schweet Entertainment - which Osboune owns with Rob Worsoff and Brian Wendel - claiming it has a 55% stake in the upcoming series of The Osbournes.

Osbourne then filed five lawsuits to dissolve his business ties with Worsoff and Wendel.

He cited that the pair paid themselves large salaries and refused to pay him and he also alleged that they took business opportunities for themselves rather than for the company.

The returning reality TV show will once again follow the Osbourne family of Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly and Jack and will air later this year on VH1 in the USA.

The original show The Osbournes was broadcast from 2002 to 2005 on MTV.
