RTÉ arts show The Works will be reformatted this autumn as part of "ongoing refreshment" of the RTÉ One schedule.
The Works began in 2012 and presenter John Kelly will be staying with the series through its refreshment.
A representative for the series said in a statement about the show's future, "Arts programming remains a central pillar of RTÉ output, and RTE is developing a comprehensive cross platform arts strategy.
"Following the end of the current series, The Works will be reformatted for the Autumn as part of ongoing refreshment of the RTÉ One schedule and our arts output on the channel. John Kelly will continue to present the series.
"As part of our autumn schedule on RTÉ One we are also planning to broadcast a strong and diverse line up of arts output, including a landmark documentary to mark the 40th anniversary of Druid Theatre, a major four-part series on Irish design, as well as documentaries on musician, Paddy Moloney, artist, Roderick O'Connor and on subject areas such as outsider art. Details of this and other arts output on RTÉ One and RTÉ2 will be announced later this year."
