Game of Thrones author George RR Martin is developing a science fiction pilot for HBO.
The writer is collaborating with Z Nation's Michael Cassutt on the pilot for Captain Cosmos, which is based around a sci-fi writer at the beginning of the television era.
According to Entertainment Weekly the pilot has not been officially ordered by HBO and is in the early stages of development.
Game of Thrones returns to Sky Atlantic on April 13 at 9pm.
