Emmerdale actress Nicola Wheeler welcomed her first child, a baby boy, last month.
The soap star, who plays Nicola King on Emmerdale, gave birth to her son on March 13, but the news was only confirmed today (April 3).
The official Emmerdale Twitter account tweeted: "BIG congratulations to @nicola_wheeler and her baby boy, who arrived on Friday 13!"
Nicola King recently suffered a miscarriage on the show and Wheeler revealed that Emmerdale bosses offered to change her storyline due to her real life pregnancy.
Wheeler's soap character is currently in Dubai to start a new job.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on UTV Ireland, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
