Fear not Frank Underwood fans, Netflix have confirmed to RTÉ TEN that Kevin Spacey will return as scheming President Underwood for a fourth series.
Production for the fourth series, which follows Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) - a ruthless power couple with high political aspirations - will begin this summer. Season three ended on quite the cliff hanger, but that's all we will say about that.
A spokesperson for Netflix said: "Netflix announced this evening (April 2) that its award winning TV series House of Cards starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright will return in 2016 for its fourth season. Seasons 1-3 are available to watch now on Netflix."
A tweet from the official House of Cards account reads: “I will leave a legacy. #Underwood2016”.
Spacey has won a Golden Globe award for best TV drama actor for House of Cards, and Wright has picked up a Globe for best actress in a TV drama for the show.
