Boyhood actress Patricia Arquette has signed a deal to write her first memoir.
The 46-year-old Oscar-winner has landed a contract with publisher Random House to pen a book that will focus on her unconventional acting family, her life as a young, single mother, and her trials and tribulations as an actress.
Random House publisher Susan Kamil praises Arquette in a statement which reads: "Patricia Arquette is a remarkable woman. The instant empathy audiences feel when they see her work on screen is completely evident on the page. The material I read is revelatory and deeply moving. Not a surprise from an actress of such nuance and intelligence."
Arquette adds, "Writing a memoir will be a new and intimate artistic journey for me, and I hope to bring to it the same honesty I have always sought to bring to my work as an actor."
