German director Wim Wenders has won the Audience Award for Best Film at this year's Jameson Dublin International Film Festival for his new documentary about photographer and environmentalist Sebastião Salgado, The Salt of The Earth.
The Irish documentary Wheel of Fortune: The Story and Legacy of the Fairview Lion Tamer was the runner-up.
The Audience Award for Best Short went to Northern Irish Oscar nominee Boogaloo & Graham, which tells the story of two brothers and two baby chicks in Troubles-era Belfast.
The festival's Volta awards for career achievement were presented to actor and director Kenneth Branagh, director Laurent Cantet and screen legend Julie Andrews.
