In the reboot Tom Hardy replaces Mel Gibson in the title role of 'Mad' Max Rockatansky.
The film centres on Mad Max and another rebel, Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron - both holding the key to restoring order to their apocalyptic world.
Mad Max: Fury Road opens in cinemas on May 14.
