Anthony and Joe Russo will direct the next instalment of the Avengers franchise, the two-part Avengers: Infinity War.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the director brothers have reached a deal to take over the superhero franchise from Joss Whedon, who directed the first two Avengers films.
It is expected that both Avengers: Infinity War films will be shot back-to-back in 2016 as part of the brothers' contractual agreement.
The duo previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and will return for Captain America: Civil War, which they begin shooting next month.
Whedon's Avengers: Age of Ultron opens on April 23 in Irish cinemas.
