Love/Hate star John Connors will lead an acting masterclass at this year's LiFT Youth Arts Festival in the Dublin suburb of Ballymun.
Now in its tenth year, the festival, which is aimed at young people aged 13 to 23, runs from Monday, March 23 to Thursday, April 2 and will also feature workshops in free-running/parkour, technical dj-ing, aerial skills, advanced computer gaming across ten venues.
All events are free and there will also be a talk on `Futuristic Balllymun', looking at the area's 1960’s fashion, photography and architecture while The Knitting Bomb is `a youth arts project that is knitting for Marriage Equality'.
Roundabout Youth Theatre perform scenes telling the story of Ballymun’s community through the eyes of Ballymun Shopping Centre’s customers and staff.
Standing On Ceremony presented by Acting Out features nine short plays by leading American playwrights including Neil LaBute, Moises Kaufman and Paul Rudkin exploring the effect of marriage on LGBT couples with `a mix of humour, pathos and righteous indignation'.
