Goodfellas stars to reunite at Tribeca Festival

The stars of Martin Scorsese's gangster epic Goodfellas are to reunite when the classic closes the Robert De Niro-founded Tribeca Film Festival in New York next month.

As the film celebrates its 25th anniversary, the festival says "the creators and cast members will reunite for a conversation after the film, moderated by Jon Stewart" on Saturday April 25.

Commenting, Scorsese said: "It's wonderful to see one of your pictures revived and re-seen, but to see it closing Tribeca, a festival of new movies, means the world to me."

The reunion comes ahead of the May release of the Goodfellas 25th anniversary edition on Blu-ray and Digital HD, which will include a new documentary, Scorsese's Goodfellas
