TV3 will host two IFTA Awards this May and October. The first will honour Irish film and drama and the second will recognise achievements in Ireland's television industry.
The Dublin-based broadcaster will deliver coverage of the IFTA Film and Drama Awards, including guests, nominees and winners, in an one-hour awards special on May 24.
In October, TV3 will also broadcast a two-hour special of the IFTA Television Awards, which will include the introduction of some new interactive and public voting categories.
TV3 will announce details of the venue, hosts and award categories in coming weeks.
