Madonna has revealed that she dated late rapper Tupac Shakur in the 1990s.
The pop legend made the revelation during an appearance on the Howard Stern Show on Sirius XF Radio, saying that she felt "very gangsta" at the time, which cased her to curse excessively when she appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman.
She said: "I was mad at [David Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general.
"So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta."
Tupac was murdered during a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996 aged 25, and is one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
